Leah Paulos, founder of Book Publicity School and Press Shop PR, has spent over 25 years at the intersection of books and media. She has led publicity campaigns for hundreds of authors, securing media coverage and events while guiding them through the world of publishing. Wanting to support more writers than Press Shop PR could accommodate, Leah created Book Publicity School to share her expertise and passion with a wider audience at an accessible price.
She has spoken on book publicity at venues including the Columbia School of Journalism and the Authors’ Guild, and on podcasts like Brad Listi’s Otherppl and The Writer Files. Leah began her career as a magazine editor at Condé Nast and went on to write and edit for several national publications. A Cornell University graduate (1998), she lives in Brooklyn with her husband and co-book publicist, Andy Davis, and their two boys.
